Images in TextView didn't look great when they are inline with text. Unfortunately you can't simply apply CSS to textview to position image nicely. One easy way is to use BitmapDrawable. Make your ImageGetter to return BitmapDrawble with Gravity TOP. Stretch your drawable height to desired height. By positioning Gravity Top, stretching won't affect the drawable quality.
This makes the image very small. How to increase the width and height and display image at center?
